June 9, 2000 - Welcome
Chug, chug, chug. Slowly, but surely I'm getting there. ...now if only I could figure out where "there" is!
My goal had been to make my web sites data driven, in particular the photo pages. I wanted to be able to quickly and easily switch the picture order around, as well as add new ones and remove others.
That got extended into making all of the pages data driven, as well as the menus. That way I could easily add extra photo pages, or have the pages on one of my sites different from another.
Now I would like to dynamically drive the text, picture, and links (to articles) for each page; rather than having each page type as a fixed format. Of course all of this is nice stuff, but I've spent tens and even hundreds of hours doing this, all the while not having my other web sites up and running. Over the past 2 months I've been taking hundreds of pictures to share with you, but without being able to making them available.
As I've been saying to myself all along: "soon!"
I should point out that my software also allows me to create HTML pages with file links (vs. web based links). This means that I can simulate my web sites on my laptop. It can be further extended to allow me to create a browser based front end to my CD [future project].
More than 550 pods collected so far
Something over a hundred still remain to be picked.

My photo pages are now partially updated. More pictures will be uploaded shortly. This page will also be updated soon. The main new news is I do now have F3 seed!!
I also have a lot of Juno pictures that I will be uploading to another site shortly.
